Preramble

Welcome to the start of something new. I made this blog to give myself a new space for writing in what feels like the right place at the right time. This blog won’t always stay on the same topics: sometimes it’ll be music, sometimes books or essays I’m reading, maybe other things. It’ll all be pretty freeform, much like journals I’ve written for myself in the past. This blog is the same idea, but in a more public space to share what I’m writing with people who may be interested.

I’ve written WordPress blogs before. One was a short-lived blog in Japanese for a class I was taking at the time. The other was a satirical college newspaper named after a recreational drug. So I’m already a bit familiar with the site’s interface, but it may take some trial and error to get organized.

For the month of December, I’ll be writing daily posts about albums I like. Not necessarily a “Top 31” list of my favorite albums of all time, but rather a diverse mix of albums that I like and think others should check out or revisit if they’re looking for something to listen to.
